ulises david "uli" acosta (born november 1, 1994) is a professional entertainer of puerto rican and honduran decent. since the age of seven, he’s made various appearances in films, television shows, chicago broadway, commercial work, print modeling, animated voice overs, and more. his recent work includes a co-star role on nbc’s popular series “chicago pd”, lead in a commercial booking airing regionally, and a co-star role on fox’s popular series “empire”
acosta trained and performed at the actors training center (atc) in wilmette, illinois from the age of 10 until the age of 18. after graduating from high school, he attended loyola university chicago (luc) on a full-ride academic scholarship; he graduated from luc in 2017 with a b.a. in theatre. after college, he'd go on to teach at atc as an acting and singing instructor, and across waukegan and chicago public schools as a teaching artist
